If you depart from our Bed and Breakfast you go on foot or by car to the Church of Vergheas,
where the walk begins. The route is indicated by red arrows in the shape of a beaver. The walk takes you over hilly terrain with magnificent views and gives a nice insight into the varied landscape of the Combrailles region, in this corner of the Department of Puy de Dôme. The most western part of the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. This walk was already made by many of our guests, always with a lot of fun.
Also for the neighboring communities such as Roche d’Agoux, Pionsat, Saint Maignier, Saint Maurice Pres Pionsat, Chateau sur Cher etc. are similar well-documented walks available.

If you depart from our Bed and Breakfast you can easily join this walk as it’s route passes a few hundred yards from our location. You will then be joining the walk half way between point 6 and 7 on the map. The walk goes through the rural landscape and leads past beautiful quiet villages, waters, churches and chapels. And, as you might expect, lets you discover 8 crosses on the way.
